In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Pope John Paul II Knights basketball squad scored a big 68-22 victory over the St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs.
With the victory, Pope John Paul II improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN) to confront the Honeybears in a Division II-AA Middle challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Honeybears come into the challenge with a record of 8-6.
Next up, the Scarabs confront the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions (Nashville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. St. Cecilia Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 50-30 non-league win over Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN).
