The Steers now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garden City for a 1A Region II District 11 battle on Friday, January 5. Robert Lee will battle a Bearkats team coming off a 42-40 non-league loss to Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 17-5.

The Red Devils (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Marathon (Marathon, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region II District 10 battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Marathon was routed by Buena Vista (Imperial, TX), 38-34, in a league battle.
