The Rockcastle County Rockets routed the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers basketball team by a final score of 69-23 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Rockets face the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a District 47 game, on Friday, January 5. Rockcastle County will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Maroons enter the game with a 11-2 record after their 78-46 non-league loss to Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN).
