The Tahoka Bulldogs basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Ropes Eagles to 32 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Post for a 2A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 5. Tahoka will battle a Antelopes team coming off a 23-14 league win over Seagraves (Seagraves, TX). The Antelopes record now stands at 3-15.

The Eagles (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Plains (Plains, TX). The Cowboys come into the 2A Region I District 5 contest with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Plains was outscored by Coahoma (Coahoma, TX), 49-43, in a non-league match.
