South River Rams (South River, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Somerset Tech Jaguars (Bridgewater, NJ), 50-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South River upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Rams host New Brunswick (New Brunswick, NJ) to play the Zebra in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Zebra go into the bout with a record of 2-2. New Brunswick lost 45-7 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Carteret Ramblers (Carteret, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Somerset Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
