With the victory, George C. Marshall upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Statesmen travel to Herndon (Herndon, VA) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Herndon won 35-3 in their recent non-league challenge against McLean (McLean, VA)

Next up, the Saxons play the Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Langley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 46-22 non-league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA).
