With the victory, Carlsbad improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Loving Falcons (Loving, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Artesia will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
