The Woodland Wolves basketball team scored 24 points and restricted the visiting Mesa Verde Mavericks to 16 in the Wolves league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dixon for a contest on Friday, January 5. Woodland will battle a Rams team coming off a 38-28 league loss to Pioneer (Woodland, CA). The Rams record now stands at 7-8.
The Mavericks (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA). The Rams come into the contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Casa Roble was defeated by Pioneer (Woodland, CA), 47-12, in a league contest.
