Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL), 47-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bibb County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Choctaws travel to Montevallo (Montevallo, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-1.

Next up, the Bears play the Brookwood Panthers (Brookwood, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Sipsey Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 28-19 non-league loss to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL).
