North Carolina High School Basketball - Person topples Cedar Ridge

January 2, 2024: Hillsborough, NC 27278

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) basketball squad beat the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), by a margin of 73-56.

The Rockets (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Northern Durham was beaten by Person (Roxboro, NC), 68-57, in a non-league outing.

The Fighting Red Wolves now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Alamance for a outing on Friday, January 5. Cedar Ridge will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 56-47 league loss to Williams (Burlington, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-6.
