Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Graham Red Devils (Graham, NC), 72-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chatham Central upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Bears travel to Cummings (Burlington, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Cummings lost 58-31 in their recent non-league bout against Williams (Burlington, NC)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Graham will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 47-40 non-league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).
