The Cornwall Central Dragons basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Valley Central Vikings to 53 in the Dragons non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Dragons now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monroe-Woodbury for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Cornwall Central will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 59-46 non-league loss to Beacon (Beacon, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.
The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kingston (Kingston, NY). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Kingston prevailed over Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY), 53-45, in a non-league outing.
