California High School Basketball - Futures nips Foresthill

January 2, 2024: Sacramento, CA 95838

Futures Knights (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA), 49-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Futures upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Westlake Charter (Sacramento, CA) to play the Explorers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Explorers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Westlake Charter won 50-38 in their recent non-league bout against Buckingham Charter (Vacaville, CA)

Next up, the Wildfires play the John Adams Academy Patriots (El Dorado Hills, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Foresthill will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 55-25 non-league loss to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA).
