The Tomcats now possess a 4-13 record. They play next when they host South Elgin for a Upstate Eight bout on Tuesday, January 7. Aurora East will play a Storm team coming off a 44-43 non-league win over Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Storm record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Elgin falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to play the Saxons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Schaumburg won 52-47 in their recent non-league bout against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL)
