The Byron Bears basketball team scored 90 points and limited the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets to 45 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Benilde-St. Margaret's for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Byron will confront a Red Knights team coming off a 75-73 non-league win over DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN). The Red Knights record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Kasson-Mantorville falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Komets host Austin (Austin, MN) to confront the Packers in a AAA Section 1 game on Saturday, January 4. The Packers go into the game with a record of 4-5. Austin lost 68-43 in their recent non-league game against Mayo (Rochester, MN)
