The Carroll Bulldogs basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Franklin Parish Patriots to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now have a 14-13 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Carroll will confront a Tigers team coming off a 46-43 non-league win over Riverfield Country Day (Tulsa, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Franklin Parish falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Patriots host Vidalia (Vidalia, LA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 7-13. Vidalia lost 80-71 in their recent non-league game against Rayville (Rayville, LA)
