In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Windham Eagles basketball team scored a big 78-48 win over the Gorham Rams.
The Eagles (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bangor (Bangor, ME). The Rams come into the AA North contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Bangor was trounced by Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME), 66-64, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Gorham will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Stags enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 58-43 league win over Edward Little (Auburn, ME).
