The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) and the host Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), observed Harlan County's basketball team overwhelm Harlan by a score of 75-47.

The Black Bears (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, McCreary Central trounced Casey County (Liberty, KY), 72-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Green Dragons battle the Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Harlan will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 93-52 non-league win over Cumberland Christian Home Educators (Somerset, KY).
