The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes defeated the host Rural Retreat Indians basketball squad by a final score of 52-42 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next, the Scarlet Hurricanes clash with the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 3. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 39-33 non-league loss to Alleghany (Sparta, NC).
