The Platteville Hillmen basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Prairie du Chien Blackhawks to 27 in the Hillmen league triumph on Thursday.

The Hillmen now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host New Glarus for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.

With the loss, Prairie du Chien falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Richland Center (Richland Center, WI) to confront the Hornets in a Southwest Wisconsin game on Friday, January 10. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 5-5. Richland Center lost 57-56 in their recent non-league game against Indian Trail (Kenosha, WI)
