The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Adams County Christian Rebels (Natchez, MS) and the visiting Central School Pioneers (Grand Cane, LA), observed Adams County Christian's basketball team knock off Central School by a score of 45-26.

The Rebels (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 12-9 record.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Claiborne Academy Rebels (Haynesville, LA) in a MAIS 2A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Central School will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 34-30 non-league win over Prairie View Academy (Bastrop, LA).
