In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons basketball team scored a big 74-50 triumph over the Mountain Lake/Comfrey .
The Dragons (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN). The Chargers go into the A Section 3 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Westbrook-Walnut Grove was trounced by Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN), 54-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the confront the Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Mountain Lake/Comfrey will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Mavericks go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 62-52 non-league win over Maple River (Mapleton, MN).
