Nebraska High School Basketball - Columbus victorious over Norfolk

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Columbus Discoverers basketball team scored a good 48-28 triumph over the Norfolk Panthers.

The Discoverers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Omaha South (Omaha, NE). The Packers go into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Omaha South topped Burke (Omaha, NE), 49-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Norfolk will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 44-40 league win over Benson (Omaha, NE).
