Minnesota High School Basketball - Russell-Tyler-Ruthton holds off Edgerton

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights basketball team scored a close 40-39 triumph over the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen.
The Knights (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Lakers go into the A Section 3 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Lakeview nipped Murray County Central (Slayton, MN), 65-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Flying Dutchmen confront the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN) in a A Section 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Edgerton will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 54-49 league win over Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN).
