High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent can't get by Escalante

The Varsity Opponent basketball squad (, ), was nudged 49-48 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT)
With the victory, Escalante advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Moquis travel to Rockwell (Eagle Mountain, UT) to meet the Marshals in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Marshals enter the test with a record of 1-9. Rockwell lost 73-18 in their recent non-league test against Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT)
The (112-292) will now prepare for their test against Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Shady Spring held off Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV), 56-52, in a non-league test.
