In Thursday's league contest, the host Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes basketball team scored a big 64-31 triumph over the Red Rock Central Falcons.
The Coyotes (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 3 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton was trounced by Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN), 44-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons confront the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN) in a A Section 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Red Rock Central will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 64-58 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, SD).
