In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Rochester Rams basketball squad scored a decisive 62-29 victory over the Laurel Spartans.
With the victory, Rochester advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Rams travel to Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA) to meet the Quips in a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Monday, January 13. The Quips enter the battle with a record of 7-2.
The Spartans now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Slippery Rock for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11.
