The Liberty Lancers nipped the visiting St. George's Dragons basketball squad by a final score of 60-53 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Lancers face the Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA) in a 2B Bi-County outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 3-2 record after their 43-31 non-league win over Rosalia (Rosalia, WA).
The Dragons (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Reardan (Reardan, WA). The Screaming Eagles enter the 2B Bi-County outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Reardan got by Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID), 59-53, in a non-league outing.
