In Thursday's league test, the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) basketball squad trounced the visiting Noble Knights (North Berwick, ME), by a score of 55-22.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. Thornton Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Red Eddies come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 58-22 non-league win over Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME).
The Knights (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME). The Patriots come into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Gray-New Gloucester bounced Lake Region (Naples, ME), 52-34, in a non-league test.
