In Thursday's non-league contest, the host White River Valley Wildcats basketball team scored a good 39-30 win over the Thetford Academy Panthers.
The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Twin Valley defeated Proctor (Proctor, VT), 52-20, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Thetford Academy will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 64-20 non-league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, VT).
