In Thursday's non-league test, the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV), by a final score of 39-27.
Next, the Lakers clash with the Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV) in a test, on Tuesday, January 7. North Tahoe will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Mustangs come into the test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Pershing County overcame Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV), 19-16, in a league test.
