John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA), 52-50 in a league bout.
With the win, John Paul II upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Golden Warrriors host Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC) to clash with the Dolphins in a non-league bout on Friday, January 21. The Dolphins go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Hilton Head Prep won 67-4 in their recent non-league bout against Colleton Prep Academy (Walterboro, SC)
Next up, the clash with the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a SCISA AA Region IV bout, on Friday, January 21. Bethesda Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 51-39 non-league win over Coastal HomeSchool (Pembroke, GA).
