The Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) basketball nipped the host West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ), 75-68 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ). The Cutters go into the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Fair Lawn was tipped by Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ), 87-65, in a non-league test.
The Highlanders now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mahwah for a non-league test on Saturday, January 22. West Milford will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 46-28 non-league win over Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 8-2.
