Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hillsborough Raiders (Hillsborough, NJ), 64-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to St. Rose (Belmar, NJ) to clash with the Purple Roses in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 22. The Purple Roses go into the bout with a record of 7-2. St. Rose won 65-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty (Jackson, NJ)

Next up, the Raiders confront the Watchung Hills Regional Warriors (Warren, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Hillsborough will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record.
