The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) and the host Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA), saw Marquez's soccer squad beat Maywood CES by a margin of 5-1.

The Gladiators now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Maywood Academy for a Southern test on Tuesday, January 25. Marquez will meet a Nighthawks squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Torres (Los Angeles, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Maywood CES drops to 1-6 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA) to meet the Bulldogs in a Southern test on Tuesday, January 25. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 8-3. Elizabeth won 1-0 in their recent league test against Bravo (Los Angeles, CA)
