The Salem Seminoles routed the visiting Academy of Richmond County Musketeers basketball team by a final score of 66-45 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Seminoles face the Hephzibah Rebels (Hephzibah, GA) in a AAA Region 4 game, on Tuesday, January 24. Salem will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 6-10 record after their 61-53 league loss to Cross Creek (Augusta, GA).

With the defeat, Academy of Richmond County moves to 5-10 on the year. The Musketeers travel to Laney (Augusta, GA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, January 21.
