The Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) basketball nipped the host Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA), 57-55 in Friday's league test.
The Wolves (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Cass (White, GA). The Colonels go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Cass got by Dalton (Dalton, GA), 70-67, in a league test.
The Buccaneers now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to River Ridge for a AAAAAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 24. Allatoona will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 67-41 league win over Creekview (Canton, GA). The Knights record now stands at 15-6.
