The Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY), 59-49 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 6 Erie County II test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Starpoint notched a victory over West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY), 55-50, in a league test.
