Apponequet Regional Lakers (Lakeville, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Case Cardinals (Swansea, MA), 70-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Apponequet Regional upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Seekonk (Seekonk, MA) to play the Warriors in a South Coast bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Seekonk won 52-31 in their recent league bout against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional (North Dighton, MA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Bishop Connolly Cougars (Fall River, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Case will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Avon (Avon, MA).
