Colorado High School Basketball - Aspen topped by Delta

The Delta Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Aspen Skiers to 36 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moffat County for a 4A Western Slope contest on Saturday, January 21. Delta will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-42 league win over Summit (Frisco, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-9.

The Skiers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rifle (Rifle, CO). The Bears come into the 4A Western Slope contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Rifle dropped by Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO), 61-40, in a league contest.
