Copley Indians (Copley, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH), 70-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Copley upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Roosevelt (Kent, OH) to play the Rough Riders in a Suburban - American bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Rough Riders come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Roosevelt won 55-43 in their recent league bout against Barberton (Barberton, OH)

Next up, the Greenmen play the Twinsburg Tigers (Twinsburg, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Aurora will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 57-43 league win over Hudson (Hudson, OH).
