The Austin Eagles basketball team (Austin, IN), was nudged 59-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the host New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN)

The Mustangs now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lighthouse Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28.

The Eagles (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN). The Dragons come into the Mid-Southern battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Silver Creek edged New Albany (New Albany, IN), 65-57, in a non-league battle.
