With the victory, Axtell upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Blue Valley (Randolph, KS) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 10-2. Blue Valley won 52-50 in their recent league bout against Hanover (Hanover, KS)

Next up, the Eagles play the Linn Bulldogs (Linn, KS) in a Twin Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Clifton-Clyde will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 33-26 non-league loss to Wetmore (Wetmore, KS).
