North Carolina High School Basketball - Bandys nips West Lincoln

January 20, 2023: Lincolnton, NC 28092

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) and the host West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), saw Bandys's basketball squad hold off West Lincoln by a count of 80-76.

With the victory, Bandys upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a 2A Conference 45 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. East Burke lost 57-33 in their recent league challenge against Maiden (Maiden, NC)

Next up, the Rebels play the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) in a 2A Conference 45 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. West Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 57-33 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
