In Friday's league outing, the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX), by a count of 75-37.
The Eagles (22-5) will now prepare for their outing against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans go into the 5A Region III District 17 outing with a 20-8 record. In their last outing, Port Arthur Memorial smashed Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX), 56-47, in a league outing.
The Ganders now hold a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to Sterling for a 5A Region III District 17 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Lee will clash with a Rangers squad coming off a 51-46 league win over Crosby (Crosby, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 13-15.
