The Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY), 81-71 in Friday's non-league test.

The Colonels (12-5) will now prepare for their test against South Laurel (London, KY). The Cardinals go into the District 50 test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, South Laurel thwarted Corbin (Corbin, KY), 73-55, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lynn Camp for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24.
