Illinois High School Basketball - Carmel can't hold off Benet Academy

The Benet Academy Redwings basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Carmel Corsairs to 45 in the Redwings league triumph on Friday.
The Redwings now sport a 21-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenwood for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Benet Academy will battle a Broncos team coming off a 68-54 non-league loss to Camden (Camden, NJ). The Broncos record now stands at 16-4.
The Corsairs (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners enter the East Suburban Catholic contest with a 6-13 record.
