Iowa High School Basketball - South Tama County ripped by Benton

The Benton Bobcats basketball team scored 66 points and held the host South Tama County Trojans to 38 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waverly-Shell Rock for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Benton will meet a Go-Hawks team coming off a 63-57 league loss to Charles City (Charles City, IA). The Go-Hawks record now stands at 9-4.
The Trojans (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Stormin' Pointers enter the WAMAC - West contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Center Point-Urbana triumphed over Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA), 70-59, in a league contest.
