Tennessee High School Basketball - McEwen tops Big Sandy

McEwen Warriors (McEwen, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Big Sandy Red Devils (Big Sandy, TN), 70-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, McEwen upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Santa Fe won 61-34 in their recent non-league bout against Collinwood (Collinwood, TN)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers (Bruceton, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Big Sandy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record.
