Mississippi High School Basketball - Thrasher ripped by Biggersville

The Biggersville Lions basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Thrasher Rebels to 33 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corinth for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Biggersville will battle a Warriors team coming off a 49-46 league win over Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 5-10.
The Rebels (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (Wheeler, MS). The Eagles enter the 1A Region 1 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Wheeler was routed by Falkner (Falkner, MS), 47-41, in a league contest.
